This special blend of coffee beans from Peru and Uganda are roasted to perfection and have been created exclusively for the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66.
Roasted locally, whole bean (unground) is shipped in vented 12 oz, heat sealed bags that are resealable to keep your coffee fresh longer.

The Peru side of this mix boasts a full body taste leaning towards a sweeter side with middle of the road acidity.  Grown by Cooperative Agraria "Fontera San Ignacio" Ltda which empowers and promotes "women grown" coffee.  These women deliver consistently high quality coffee, managing new projects and developing new ways to improve the lives of their families.

The Ugandan side offers the taste of dark chocolate, green tea and raisin.  This bean is grown on the equator by Kyagalanyi Coffee, Ltd in the extinct volcano in the Mt. Elgon Region.  The area has a bi-modal rainfall which keeps the mountain lush and green all year.  There is a thriving program which practices farming as a business.  Among other things they have developed, they run the Coffee Youth Teams which train young people as coffee farmer consultants.
